I have some disagreement with your post. for example, number 9 and 10, although you just change some verb or all of verb, i think it is a form of cheating, because the sentence is still like original one. like, " i want to go to the department store," and you turn it into " i would like to go to the mall." It would still be cheatting, so i think the better way is that not only do chang vocabularies but grammar. The best way is i your own words.
I agree most of your answer. I also think the article was rewrited is not cheating because you used your words to explain opinion.
I disagree the answer of 8.9 & 10. No. 8 is cheating for teacher! Even if we think it is not a cheat for ourselves. The No.9 and 10 are the wrong things because even if you change the verbs and nouns, but the article is still not wrote by yourself!
